When the term “independence” comes for obvious reason freedom expectant peace loving People become excited and emotional to make and happen true of their cherished dream of getting the real taste of independence. in fact, when People face bondage in implementing any sort of legalized and constitutional rights being resident of any society, land and/ or country requires & inspires them to get rid of from the bondage by utmost dedication to revive and  sustain with all fundamental rights in a sovereign state or country. In short, to get relief from the oppression and cruel domination of any community society and/ or country necessitates any nation, community or country to bear in mind the flash and demand of being independent by way of war, revolution or whatever required to winover the step of existence. Independence is a process by which every natural right is preserved for any community, society or countrymen. Different philosophers opined on independence in various aspects. Independence is a birth right of every citizen of the world. More specifically, where there is no right to live with freedom and esteem, there should have independence. An independent nation can aspire to be the most progressive and civilized nation in the world. In real sense. The importance of independence has no boundary. The existence, identity, dignity, acceptance, above all, every single breathing of any nation rest on independence. In this world, there are many heroic nations who have been proved to be the dedicated and historic nation due to struggle some battled in quest of conquering their independence. Also, there are examples of diminishing the existence of nation through a bloody and continuous fight for independence in their fate. For Logical reason, I understand the inner significance of the word  “Independence”. Human being will survive having its utmost implied rights this is the general rule, but when interference occurs it breeds the notion in the heart of the people to be independent. With the extreme  violation of our human rights, natural rights and other valid constitutional rights when west Pakistan continued to gear up the dimension & range or oppression, repression, domination and torture on East Pakistani Peace loving people the unlimited agitation, raze and vindictiveness grew in the mind of then East Pakistani People.

All these rage and protest turned to the historical war and movement. In the year 1971, with the call for freedom and independence by the father of the nation Banga Bandhu Sheikh Mojibur Rahman, Bangali nation defeated the Pakistani raider and barbaric culprits; and Bangali got independent and a map of their beloved land named Bangladesh. It was not a simple war with Pakistani raiders. After 9 months long struggleful bloody war with Pakistan, we got our beloved land enemy free on 16^th December, 1971.By reviewing the history, we get more than 30 lakh of Bangali heroic  freedom fighters dedicated their life at the gun point of war and about 2 lakh of Bangali Nari have lost their decency and purity by the crucial abuse of Pakistani army. With the cost of their unhesitated and willing sacrifice of their lives, today we have got a map and existence of a sovereign state Bangladesh. A War like the liberation war of Bangladesh has been a historic story of victory to the world. The freedom fighters exhausted their last drop of blood for what? In fact, the dream for which freedom expectant fighters dedicated themselves was to get an independent country where all natural rights, constitutional rights along with right to live with liberty, utmost dignity and prosperity will be ensured and preserved for all the countrymen irrespective to religion, race, caste, complexion and profession. But with pensive mood, it is to word that soon after the independence, as epidemic and snap of poverty on the Bangladeshi nation and as a result a war devastated country struggled a lot of. Time and again, we started and tried to stand with our earnest and at best efforts but it was being hampered from different corners. However, how a nation can be united for fighting for a flag, Bangladeshi People are the luminous example. For ensuring a safe bed for the next generation and offspring, millions of people took their last breath. Is not it the greatest and heroic contribution for a country from their part? But it is a shameful history for us that we have assassinated the person whose brain child was freedom and independence of today’s Bangladesh.

Having importance, I would like to state here that we are attempting towards, progress but all in vein because of political unrest and lack of good governance consecutively the tenure of one government to another. We are not satisfied and pleased to the condition of political turmoil and violence, even minimum fundamental rights are not being preserved for the countrymen. We wanted a prosperous and peaceful country and our heroic freedom fighters dedicated their valued lives. But Sorrowful matter is that after about 45 years of independence, we could not fulfill the cherished dreams of our martyrs. Actually, no telling to say that even we failed to ensure square meal for every citizen till today, People starve day after day which is not expected by us. Most of the fundamental rights are being paddled every now and then. Corruption and illegal means of earning and amassing Govt. treasure have been a routine work of the Beaurocrates of today’s independent country. Businessmen craves for making profit  by any means it may be unfair trade or syndicate business which does not matter to them.  It seems to be wondering that one most important right to vote for electing the representatives of the country has already been vitiated with unknown but autocratic reasons. And what about the unknown but autocratic reasons. And what about the democratic rights and practice which folds a good number of question? people are being held by law enforces agency members without any reason only for their arrest business. Common People have been victim of crucial consequence of moral degradation in today’s independent Bangladesh. Most importantly, old aged wounded freedom fighters have no way except crying and recollecting the beloved and struggle some memory of the independence.

They keep questioning for what they fought?   Apart from this, poverty alleviation is not functioning in up to the mark race. Our country’s almost all citizens are found of peaceful co-existence with the minority and other religious people. But it will not be false, if I state that proper and widely accepted harmonious and respectful situation is hardly found in our country. The liberation war was on the theme of secular country and its spirit, but long after the liberation, we neither get peaceful environment nor we get square meal & housing to get shelter.

One more important issue should be diged out. Bangladesh has been developing not at stretch because different political parties assume the power one after another interrupting the ongoing development and progressive works. It is true that Bangladesh is on the race of development but the race is not that much faster that it would have to be. Being an independent country, we want moving towards globalization and limitless prosperity, despite having a good number of politically motivated obstacle. In deed, today’s technologically updated generations no longer wish to be bore doomed instead of excelling the direction to the genuine and acknowledged prosperity, legging behind & looking at back can not be the opted theme and theory of the young generation in fact.

In point blank, we can say after liberation we have achieved a lot of progress in different dimension but all the progressive work had to be manifold further, If there would have no corruption & Political violence in the country.

In fine, corruption & all sorts of unrest should be washed away for ensuring the illustic self dependent and developed independent country.
